Blaze – 6-Year-Old Australian Cattle Dog

Blaze is a 6-year-old Australian Cattle Dog bred by Flying D Kennels. He is looking for an active home that appreciates the intelligence, loyalty, and work ethic the breed is known for.

Blaze has spent his life as a companion dog and is currently living in a foster home. He is house trained, walks well on leash, and lives successfully with other dogs. He is also living with cats and has learned to coexist peacefully with dog-savvy felines.

Blaze enjoys being involved in daily activities and thrives when given structure, training, and regular exercise. Some of his favorite activities include frisbee, hiking, tug, treadmill exercise, flirt pole, and herding ball. He is highly food motivated, enjoys training, and likes having a job to do.

He recently participated in a group hike with children and was reported to be respectful and well-mannered throughout the outing.

Unlike many adult dogs seeking new homes, Blaze's history is fully known. He was bred by Flying D Kennels, and his pedigree, records, and background are available.

Blaze is not a low-energy dog and will do best with an owner who enjoys working with their dog and providing both mental and physical engagement. Experience with Australian Cattle Dogs or other active working breeds is preferred.
