Blaze is a handsome 5-year-old red male Australian Cattle Dog looking for his forever home!
Blaze has been working incredibly hard in foster care and has made wonderful progress. He has learned great manners, walks nicely on leash, and has been doing well with his off-leash freedom training. He’s a smart boy who enjoys learning and thrives when given guidance and structure.
He does well with other dogs and has shown he can have calm, respectful interactions. Blaze also lives with cats and has learned to peacefully coexist with them (with dog-savvy cats who are used to dogs).
This sweet, loving boy does well with people and enjoys being with his humans.
Blaze loves to play frisbee and even enjoys exercising on the treadmill! He would be thrilled to have someone who enjoys keeping him active and engaged. We haven’t seen much interest in swimming yet, but as the weather warms up we’ll see if he discovers a new favorite hobby!
Like many Australian Cattle Dogs, Blaze is loyal, intelligent, and happiest when he has both mental and physical outlets. He would make an amazing companion for someone who appreciates the breed and wants a devoted best friend by their side.
