Wayne is a thoughtful, steady male with a natural off-switch, while still carrying the energy and drive expected of a well-bred Australian Cattle Dog. He is people-oriented and settles quickly in new situations—initially observant, but friendly and comfortable once he’s had a moment to take things in.

He travels regularly for shows and handles busy environments, new places, and change without issue. He has been raised and shown by my children, including in juniors, which reflects his patience, stability, and overall good nature. He enjoys affection and forms a strong bond with his people.

Wayne is intelligent, willing, and straightforward to train. He has natural, honest herding instinct and enjoys activities like Fast CAT, putting full effort into whatever he’s asked to do. At home, he is easy to live with—active when appropriate, but calm and respectful in daily life.
