CH 2blue Bayou John Wayne at Flying D BCAT FDC FITB

Wayne earned his AKC Championship. Conformation showing evaluates a dog's structure, movement, and adherence to the breed standard.

The Farm Dog Certified test evaluates a dog's composure and behavior around common farm sights, sounds, and activities. Wayne earned this title with his young handler.

Wayne earned his BCAT title in FastCAT, the AKC's timed 100-yard dash in which dogs chase a moving lure. FastCAT demonstrates chase motivation (prey drive toward a moving target), speed, and athleticism in a public sporting environment.

The AKC Fit Dog program recognizes participation in activities that promote canine fitness and conditioning. Wayne earned his Fit Dog Bronze title with his young handler.

Wayne is a thoughtful, steady male with a natural off-switch while retaining the energy and drive expected of a well-bred Australian Cattle Dog. He is people-oriented and settles quickly in new situations, initially observing his surroundings before becoming friendly and comfortable.

Wayne traveled regularly for shows and handles busy environments, unfamiliar places, and changes in routine without issue. He has been raised and shown by a young handler, my 12 year old daughter, including in Junior Showmanship, demonstrating his ability to work with a child in the show environment.

Wayne enjoys affection and forms strong bonds with his people. He is intelligent, willing, and straightforward to train, with natural herding instinct and toy drive. He enjoys activities such as FastCAT and loves to play. At home, he is active when appropriate but calm and respectful in daily life.
