Cookie is strong-willed, independent, and very determined. He can be sweet and friendly when he chooses. He holds the record for being the fastest dog we've ever had to finish, earning his championship at only 7 months old!
He is good with our kids, although he enjoys his own space more than constant attention. His herding instinct is very strong, and he likes to take charge of the work himself. He can be stubborn in training and prefers to do things his own way.
He gets along with very tolerant dogs but can be aggressive with other intact males and even pushy with females. Some of his offspring inherit his strong personality, so his offspring are best suited for experienced owners.
He stands out for his gorgeous blue mottled coat, stocky build, and commanding head. Most people comment first on how striking he looks in person.
