We ask that you fill out an application within 6 months of when you have decided you are ready for a puppy to be added to our waitlist. Then we will keep you updated via email on all litter news. If you’re interested in a litter, please let us know so we can notify you when the puppies are available for deposits.

Once the puppies have reached 7.5 weeks of age, we can offer you the puppy or puppies we feel is the best match for you based off their APET testing, BAER testing and vet exams. Please note we try to give you the choice between 2 puppies when possible. We prioritize the puppy’s temperament and health over everything else. We understand
Once the puppies have reached 7.5 weeks of age, we can offer you the puppy or puppies we feel is the best match for you based off their APET testing, BAER testing and vet exams. Please note we try to give you the choice between 2 puppies when possible. We prioritize the puppy’s temperament and health over everything else. We understand you may have specific requests like facial markings or coat patterns, which is fine but please note that the process of finding the puppy that fits those specific requests may take longer and is never a guarantee.

We ask that once you have been matched to a specific puppy, you plan to get them in 2 weeks or less. Any longer than a 2-week period is not fair to the puppy. We do ask to see all pet buyers in person at the time of pickup or delivery, so you can either drive or fly to us for pickup. The closest airport is Will Rogers in Oklahoma City. Pu

Puppies must fly before 10 weeks of age, no later due to their weight. After 10 weeks of age they may be too big to fly in a soft carrier at your feet as carry on and we do not want our puppies shipped as cargo. If you plan to pick up directly from us, we live near Fairview, OK.

Flying D Kennels is a small family owned Australian cattle dog breeder located in Oklahoma. We raise Black Angus beef cattle and a handful of Nigerian Dwarf goats here on our farm, mainly cow/calf pairs as well as breed purebred blue heeler puppies. We have been breeding for over 10 years. We want active families, who are experienced breed owners who have a plan and goal for their dog in mind. Our dogs do well in sport or performance homes where they compete in dock diving, rally, agility or barn hunt, or ranch or farm homes. They do not do well in suburban or apartment homes as pets.
